Royal Wedding Inspiration
With the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement, the whole of the UK has been thrown into a royal wedding frenzy. So, while we look forward to watching another blushing bride grace the aisle at Windsor Castle, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the past royal bridal looks, and how you can take inspiration for your wedding.
Get The Look: Kate’s Tiara
Wearing a beautiful, lace-detailed gown by Alexander McQueen designer; Sarah Burton, the Duchess of Cambridge looked like a true princess at her wedding to Price William back in 2011. Due to the austerity measures during her wedding in 1947 following the war, the Queen had to use clothing ration coupons to pay for her dress! Brides-to-be across the country gifted her hundreds of their own coupons, but they were returned as it was illegal for her to use them.
